Mclaren will make the final move for its entry in the Indian market by opening its first retail outlet in Mumbai on 17th November. The carmaker’s entry into the Indian market was confirmed back in May last year.
The first Mclaren models to be sold here are likely to be the GT and 720s. The former is a grand-tourer prefect for crunching miles, while the latter is a sports car known for its physics defying dynamics. These could later be joined by the Mclaren Artura and 765LT Coupe and Spider models.

We’ve already got a Mclaren out on the streets even before the brand takes its first official steps in the country. It is the 620PS 4-litre, twin-turbocharged V8 powered Mclaren GT which was gifted to the Bollywood celebrity Karthik Aaryan. Joining the brand’s stable alongside the GT will be the 720s which is a sports car powered by a 4.0L twin-turbocharged V8 delivering 720PS and 770Nm.
The introduction of the Mclaren brand in India further widens the high-performance options available in the country. The British marque and its products will compete with offerings from the likes of Audi, Porsche, Lamborghini, Maserati, and Ferrari in the country.
