Nissan has launched the Magnite Kuro Edition in India from Rs 8.27 lakh (ex-showroom). The Special Edition is based on the one-below top XV trim and is available with three powertrain options. The Kuro Edition has been launched to commemorate the company’s 8th year as the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 official partner.

In terms of design changes, the Special Edition Magnite comes with a black shade, a blacked-out grille, alloys, and red brake callipers. It also has smoked out LED headlamps and the overall black look makes it look dope. Nissan has also added Kuro badging on the front fenders.

Inside, too, the Magnite Kuro get a similar all-black theme. These include seat covers, door handles, roofliner, steering wheel and AC vent surrounds, all of which are finished in black.
As the Nissan Magnite Kuro Edition is based on the XV variant, it comes loaded with features like an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a digital driver’s display, wireless phone charger, 360-degree camera, and rear AC vents.
In terms of powertrain options, Nissan is offering three choices for the customers of the Kuro Edition. The first option is the 72PS 1-litre petrol with a 5-speed manual. Buyers can also opt for the more powerful 1-litre turbo petrol which develops 100PS and 160Nm, paired with a manual or CVT gearbox.
Furthermore, Nissan has also launched a special ICC World Cup contest for its customers. Customers who take a test drive of the Magnite at the showroom are eligible to be part of a lucky draw which will award them with World Cup match tickets.
The Magnite locks horns with Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Brezza and Renault Kiger.
