Porsche India At Auto Expo 2025: 911 Facelift, Taycan And Macan BEV

Porsche India is confirmed to participate at the Auto Expo 2025 and now, we know what will be their choice of lineup which will be showcased at the Porsche pavilion. The lineup will include a host of facelifted models and the India premiere of its brand-new electric SUV. Here’s what all products will be an eye candy:

New All-electric Macan BEV

Porsche’s Macan BEV will make its first India debut at the Auto Expo 2025. This luxury SUV combines electric technology with Porsche’s signature sporty handling. Equipped with a 95 kWh battery, it propels from 0 to 100 kmph in 3.3 seconds while, it also supports DC fast charging at up to 270 kW, allowing the battery to charge from 10 percent to 80 percent in approximately 21 minutes. The Macan BEV offers a WLTP-estimated range of up to 590 km, ensuring that range anxiety is a thing of the past. 

Inside, the cabin features integrated ambient lighting and vegan-friendly leather-free seats, with recycled materials used throughout, including floor mats crafted from regenerated nylon. 

The New Taycan

The New Porsche Taycan which is priced from Rs 1.89 crore to Rs 2.53 crore (ex-showroom), the Taycan lineup in India currently includes the 4S and Turbo variants. While subtle styling changes like a cleaner front bumper, revised LED headlights, and a 3D Porsche logo add elegance, the real magic lies under the hood. With larger 89kWh and optional 105 kWh battery packs, the Taycan now offers quicker acceleration, extended ranges (up to 630km for the Turbo), and 800V architecture enabling ultra-fast 320 kW charging. 

Inside, updates include a sleeker digital dashboard, an optional passenger display, and luxurious features like ventilated 14-way powered seats and a four-zone climate control system. 

The Legendary 911

The Porsche 911 needs no introduction. This updated 911, which will be showcased at Auto Expo 2025, starts from Rs 1.98 crore to Rs 2.75 crore (ex-showroom). The 911 Carrera continues with its signature 3-litre twin-turbo boxer engine, now producing 394 PS, while the Carrera 4 GTS debuts a hybrid-assisted 3.6-litre six-cylinder turbocharged engine delivering an impressive 541 PS. 

Exterior tweaks include Matrix LED headlights, active air cooling flaps, and centrally placed dual exhausts, while the cabin gets a 12.6-inch fully digital driver display, a 10.9-inch touchscreen, and enhanced tech like wireless charging and ambient lighting. 

Marking its first hybrid entry in over six decades, the 911 Carrera 4 GTS sets new benchmarks. The 911 at Auto Expo 2025 will undoubtedly attract purists and new fans alike, being the prime eye candy amidst the chaos.

The Panamera GTS

The third-generation Panamera will also be showcased at the Auto Expo 2025, priced from Rs 1.69 crore (ex-showroom). While the exterior updates appear subtle, the sedan now has a sleeker silhouette, headlamps inspired by the new Taycan, and updated interiors with screens everywhere (the new normal, we guess?). The 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6 engine delivers 353 PS and 500 Nm, paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission, achieving a 0-100 kmph sprint in 5.1 seconds. Packed with luxury features like a Bose sound system, ventilated seats, and four-zone climate control, it also includes advanced safety tech and adaptive suspension as standard. 

Porsche's showcase at Auto Expo 2025 highlights its focus on India's growing luxury and performance car market. With models like the electric Macan BEV and Taycan along with legacy nameplates like the 911 and the Panamera, Porsche India aims to make its mark in India.
