Porsche Cayenne

Features: The SUV gets a brand-new dashboard with three screens, a 12.6-inch digital driver’s display, a 12.3-inch main infotainment screen and a 10.9-inch co-driver screen. It has a 911-derived sports steering wheel with audio, cruise control, engine start and driving mode controls. The gear selector has been moved from the centre console to the dashboard next to the 12.3-inch touchscreen. Other features include a cooled storage compartment for smartphones which also has wireless charging at up to 15W, front and rear USB-C ports, Porsche Communication Management connected car tech (pairs your phone via a QR code) and an optional heads-up display (HUD).

Engine: Standard variants of the Cayenne are powered by 3-litre V6 petrol engine delivering 353 PS/500 Nm, while the GTS variants are powered by 4-litre V8 petrol engine delivering 500 PS/660 Nm. It measures 4930 mm in length, 1983 mm in width, 1698 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2895 mm.

Rivals: The Porsche Cayenne rivals the Range Rover Sport, Audi Q8 and Mercedes GLE.

Variants: Porsche Cayenne SUV is offered in standard and GTS variants. Both the variants are also offered in Coupe body style type.

Porsche has launched the 2024 Cayenne GTS and Cayenne GTS Coupe in India. Prices for the Cayenne GTS start from Rs 1.99 crore (ex-showroom) while that of the GTS Coupe start from Rs 2.01 crore (ex-showroom). Recently, Porsche had updated its Cayenne GTS SUV, featuring an overhauled look both on the outside and inside. It gets a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine producing 500 PS. Along with overall exterior design tweaks, the refreshed interiors feature in line with the current generation Porsche’s.
