The last week of March marked the beginning of a new era for the Italian supercar marque Lamborghini; while closer to home, we got the launch of a special-edition Skoda SUV. We also got news about upcoming vehicles and witnessed variant rejigs of multiple models.
Here’s everything on four wheels that made headlines over the past week:
Lamborghini is heading into its new era of electrification with the reveal of the Aventador’s hybrid successor called the Revuelto. It deviates from the guidelines followed by its ancestors and boasts electrification beneath the hood. Don’t worry, the 6.5-litre, NA V12 is still there and you can find more details about it here.
Skoda launched a special edition for the Kushaq called the Onyx edition. Generally, special editions build on the top-spec trims of a vehicle, but this one is actually based on the entry-level Active trim and packs additional cosmetic and comfort features over it, full details about which are in our launch story.

Skoda’s bigger and more powerful 1.5-litre powertrain was previously limited to the top-spec Style trims of both the Kushaq and Slavia. However, the carmaker has changed things around and made the powertrain available in the mid-spec Ambition trim, making it significantly affordable. Want to know by how much? The third-generation Renault Duster is in the works, and the SUV has been spotted testing in Europe. The spied images reveal bigger proportions of the SUV and its styling, which seems to be similar to the Dacia Bigster concept. India launch should happen sometime in 2025, post its global debut next year.
BMW has launched two new diesel variants for the X3 SUV. One of the two new trims, called the xDrive20d xLine, replaces the previously offered Luxury Line diesel variant. There is no petrol power on offer with the X3 and there are no design revisions.
