The retro-styled bike will be refreshed to keep in tune with the times and its rivals, and will still continue to have multiple variants

Will be updated soon

Quick Highlights

  • The Royal Enfield Classic 350 could be updated in the next month

  • Expected to remain same mechanically

  • Might not have a major price bump

The Royal Enfield Classic 350 is reportedly all-set to receive minor updates. The retro-styled bike has been a staple for the brand for years now, and has received tweaks and changes to keep it fresh, time and again. This time around, it seems like the updates will just include an LED headlight, tail light, and the pilot lights (or the Tiger Lamps).

There’s an increasing demand for LED lighting in the Indian two-wheeler industry, and many of the Classic’s rivals are equipped with it. Royal Enfield has also updated many of its models with LED lighting, but the Classic is one of the few models to not have it.

Will get LED headlight tail light and pilot lights soon

However, we reckon this update will be only on the alloy wheel variants of the Classic 350 – Gunmetal Grey and Dark Stealth Black. These look slightly more modern than the other spoked wheel variants, and the LED lights should look more cohesive on these. These variants are currently equipped with alloy wheels with disc brakes, dual-channel ABS, and a single seat, to name a few. As of writing, these variants cost Rs 2,20,991 (ex-showroom, Chennai).

Royal Enfield is expected to launch the updated Classic 350 somewhere in August, and there could be a slight bump in the price of the updated variants. The Royal Enfield Classic 350 rivals include the likes of the Jawa 350, Honda CB350, Hero Mavrick 440, and the Harley-Davidson X440.
