Royal Enfield has commenced deliveries of its 120th Year Anniversary Limited Edition Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 across the country. The Indian bikemaker had unveiled the bikes at EICMA 2021 before launching them in December with a high asking price of Rs 4.50 lakh and Rs 4.80 lakh (both on-road Chennai) for the Interceptor and the Continental respectively.
Royal Enfield produced only 480 units of the limited edition 650 twins, with 120 year-marked examples distributed to India, America, Europe and Southeast Asia. All 120 units ( 60 each of the Interceptor and Continental GT) assigned for India were spoken for in just two minutes.
Among the first few owners of these limited edition beauties are Rear Admiral of the Indian Navy, Philipose G Pynumootil, Olympic medallist and shooter Gagan Narang, and actor and director Dhyan Sreenivasan.
The Royal Enfield 120th Anniversary Limited Edition 650 Twins come draped in an exclusive blacked-out theme with a bunch of accessories as standard and handcrafted 3D badges. Here’s everything you need to know about the limited edition RE 650 twins.
The limited edition RE 650 twins are off the shelves now, but the Indian bikemaker has been working on quite a few exciting projects including a Classic 650 and reviving the Constellation. But before that, we’ll have Super Meteor 650 and the Shotgun 650 to grace our roads.
