(Update: The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 has been launched. Check out the details here.)
A new spy shot of the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 and Bullet 650 has surfaced online showing both these upcoming Royal Enfield Bikes being tested before launch. The new spy shot has also revealed new information about the Guerrilla 450, specifically its accessories and new colour schemes. Here’s everything you need to know:
We have seen many spy shots and teasers of the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 in the past, now we also know that the bike will come in two variants with different features. The new spy shot has revealed one of the possibly many accessories the bike could come with.
The Guerrilla 450 in the spyshot was seen sporting a fly screen that covers the instrument console. In a way, it is similar to the small fly screen that is offered on Interceptor 650, in that it covers up the instrument console’s front section.
The one on the upcoming roadster appears to be made out of plastic and is mounted via the headlight. The flyscreen looks good and gives the bike a neat look at the front and fits in well with the overall styling.
Additionally, a new colour scheme that the Guerrilla 450 will get has also been spotted. The new colour is a yellow and black dual-tone scheme, with a glossy finish. It features ‘Guerrilla’ written on the tank in black along with purple coloured ‘Royal Enfield’ badging. This new colour looks quite flashy, and youthful, and paired with the funky livery, the bike stands out quite well.
The Guerrilla 450 is set to be launched on July 17, 2024 and will be powered by the same 452cc engine as the Himalayan 450, which produces 40PS and 40Nm. The bike could come to India with an expected introductory price that is somewhere around Rs 2.20 lakh and Rs 2.30 lakh (ex-showroom). We expect the bike to be more affordable than the Triumph Speed 400. Here’s why we think so.
The Bullet 650 appears to sport a similar design and styling as its smaller capacity sibling, the Royal Enfield Bullet 350. It gets a similar headlight setup with nacelle and fork covers, along with the Bullet’s tradition of a single-piece seat.
The Bullet 650 will come with the same 648cc air/oil-cooled twin cylinder engine which produces 47PS and 52Nm. The bike is expected to be launched somewhere around late 2024 or early 2025 and will come at an expected price of around Rs 3 lakh ex-showroom.
