A Colourful Meteor Shower From Royal Enfield

Royal Enfield has launched the Meteor 350 in three fresh new paint schemes: Fireball Blue, Fireball Matt Green, and Supernova Red. Apart from new colours being added to the wide range of options to choose from, the Meteor 350’s entire variant lineup also witnesses a price hike.

Out of the three, the Fireball Matt Green looks the most subtle and clean with a matte finish, complemented by a black Royal Enfield logo on the fuel tank. It also gets matching rim stickers and is priced at Rs 2,05,844 (ex-showroom Chennai). The Fireball Blue, too, is priced at Rs 2,05,844, and features a flashy blue paint complemented by a vibrant yellow Royal Enfield logo on the fuel tank as well as yellow sticker on the rims. Both the paint schemes get blacked out exhausts and alloys, and remind us of the Royal Enfield Thunderbird with its simple appeal.

The flashiest of the lot is the Supernova Red with a dual-tone colour scheme. Priced at Rs 2,22,061 (ex-showroom Chennai), this paint scheme flaunts a glossy red colour with contrasting gloss black paint on the fuel tank and the side panels. Adding on to it, this paintscheme also gets chrome finish on the exhaust and highlights on the alloys.

Powering the Meteor 350 is the same 349cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 20.48PS at and 27Nm. It is mated to a five-speed gearbox.

With the new paint schemes, the prices of the previous colour options have gone up as well by Rs 4225 across its variant lineup. The cruiser locks horns with the likes of Honda H’ness CB350, Yezdi Roadster and Benelli Imperiale 400.
