Skoda Launches 1-year Anytime Warranty, Benefits Older Models Too

European carmaker Skoda has introduced a new Anytime Warranty Package for all its cars with coverage for up to a year or 20,000km, whichever first. This initiative can extend the warranty coverage to up to eight years or 1.5 lakh km, and also covers older cars and discontinued models, including diesels, such as the Skoda Kodiaq, Superb, Octavia and Rapid. 

Skoda Anytime Warranty: the basics 

• The Anytime Warranty can be availed of for any Skoda car that is up to seven years old with less than 1.3 lakh km on the odometer. 

• It can be bought at any point during your ownership, even after the original warranty expires. 

• Skoda cars currently get a standard four-year or one lakh km warranty (whichever comes first). 

• The standard warranty can be extended for the fifth and sixth year as well, for up to 1.5 lakh km of usage. 

• If your car’s mileage is under 1.3 lakh, the Anytime Warranty is available for one year or up to 20,000km of usage.  

• Using the Anytime Warranty and/or extension plans, a Skoda car can be covered for up to eight years or 1.5 lakh km of usage.

• Before availing of the Anytime Warranty, the car will need to be inspected by qualified technicians.

The Anytime Warranty, just like the standard and extended warranties, is transferable to the next owner as well. For the buyer, it’s a reassurance that the car has been inspected and was serviced at an authorised service centre.
