Suzuki has teased the updated Burgman Street, on its social media handles. While the Ride Connect variant already comes with a bunch of incredible features and performance that makes it stand out in its segment, the updated Burgman, likely to be a top-of-the-line variant, is set to bring even more features to the beefy scooter. Interestingly, the UK-spec variant is called Burgman Street 125EX, so expect it to be called the same in India.
Most importantly, the scooter will now roll on a bigger 12-inch alloy wheel at the rear, instead of the smaller 10-inch unit. This should offer more stability and control over the scooter in combination with its 12-inch front alloy.
Adding to the update will be the new auto start-stop system, silent starter system and tweaks to the engine to make it more refined and fuel-efficient. For perspective, the UK model boasts of 56kmpl claimed fuel efficiency. Apart from this, the new model will pack all the features from the Ride Connect variant including a digital console, smartphone connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation.

Now these updates will command a steep premium over the standard model. So, while the Ride Connect model comes with a sticker price of Rs 93,300 (ex-showroom Delhi), expect the 125EX variant to be priced just under Rs 1 lakh (ex-showroom).
Suzuki is expected to launch the new variant of the Burgman sometime this month. The Burgman Street 125 rivals the likes of Honda Grazia, Hero Maestro 125, TVS NTorq 125, Honda Activa 125 and Yamaha Fascino 125.
