One of the biggest markets where the new-gen Ford Endeavour is sold is Thailand. The full size body-on-frame SUV is super popular in the land of smiles and in fact, is offered with the most number of variants there. So without further ado, let’s get cracking to see what the Thai-spec Endy gets. 

Thai-spec Ford Endeavour Variants And Colours  

The Endeavour sold in Thailand is offered in five broad variants: Trend, Sport, Titanium +, Wildtrak and Platinum. A point to note is that the Thai-specific Wildtrak trim, which is the off-road spec variant, gets beefier as well as off-road-spec elements such as a roof rack, a different front grille and chunkier tyres.

As for colour options, you get to choose from eight options: Aluminium Metallic, Meteor Gray, Absolute Black, Blue Lightning, Equinox Bronze, Luxe Yellow, Snowflake White Pearl and Sedona Orange.

Thai-spec Ford Endeavour Engine Options 

In Thailand, the Endeavour is offered with three diesel engines: a 2-litre single-turbo, a 2-litre twin-turbo and a 3-litre V6 (limited to the top-end variant). The Endy comes loaded with kit such as a 12.4-inch digital driver’s display, a 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 12-speaker Bang and Olufsen sound system, dual-zone climate control, ambient lighting, a panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charger and powered front seats with ventilation.

Passenger safety is taken care of by up to seven airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera and most importantly, ADAS features. 

Ford Endeavour Expected India Launch 

The new-gen Ford Endy has been spotted undisguised on our shores, raising strong speculation that Ford could make a comeback. That being said, Ford is yet to give an official confirmation regarding its India re-entry plans. 

If launched here, one can expect it to be priced from around Rs 55 lakh to Rs 60 lakh (ex-showroom). It will rekindle its rivalry with the Toyota Fortuner, MG Gloster, Jeep Meridian and Skoda Kodiaq.
