Racing exotic motorcycles at iconic tracks is something most motorcyclists dream of, but only a few lucky achieve that. But for others, Ride 5 is probably the closest we can get. The announcement trailer of the game developed by Italy-based Milestone promises edge-of-the-seat action with some of the most exotic motorcycles to grace the world.
The announcement trailer shows the new BMW M 1000 RR, Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10 RR, MV Agusta Brutale 1000 RR Serie Oro, Bimota Tesi H2, KTM Super Duke 1290 R and even the Ducati Panigale V4 Superleggera blasting through Southern 100 in Isle of Man, a bunch of race tracks and even a what appears to be a custom, fictional track.
Going by the visuals, the physics of the game look pretty close to reality. You can see the BMW S 1000 R’s handlebar wobbling when entering too hot into a corner. The trailer shows different weather and riding conditions which would make the game all the more exciting.
To keep the “riders” even more engaged, the game allows you to customise your bike’s livery and even customise your leather suits and helmets. You can then share the custom liveries with other users across different platforms. Has couch racing ever been cooler than this?
The game will be releasing on August 24, 2023 for Sony’s PlayStation 5, XBox Series and Steam.
