Royal Enfield has been involved with various modders around the country to create custom versions of their models for a long time. Neev Motorcycles from Delhi has been involved with Royal Enfield to create meticulously designed and detail-oriented custom bikes, like the custom Continental GT 650 they made a few months ago. They have once again collaborated on a project called the Nakshatra and boy, it looks hot!
The Nakshatra is based on the Super Meteor 650. The tank is completely new and hand-built and is taller than the regular model. The handlebar has also been raised a bit to give the bike an authentic custom cruiser look. The instrument console and the tripper navigation pod have been moved to the centre of the tank and the bike gets fuel lids on either side of the instrument console. The bike has been inspired by astrology and as such, the fuel lids have all the zodiac signs painted on them.
The covered wheels in the pitch-black colour look really nice, and the front and rear fenders are completely new. They look sleeker and are shorter in length. The single-seat setup that is swept upwards complements the overall design very well.

There’s a small windshield on top of the headlight and the USD fork is flanked by sharp-looking panels on either side, which give a menacing look to the front. The blacked-out engine casing and the rerouted exhaust pipes – in a way that both pipes are now on the right-hand side – complete the look.
The gorgeous smoked satin grey and black paint job looks stellar. But the true beauty of the bike is in the details. As mentioned above, the bike has been inspired by astrology and the inspiration is visible in the carvings on the covered wheel and the fuel lids with the zodiac signs and the sun in the middle. The Royal Enfield logo on the tank has been replaced by a circular logo with the name ‘Nakshatra’ in the middle of it surrounded by stars.
The dual shock absorbers get a grey cover with black lines on top that look like black paint dripping from the top of the cover. The tip of the exhaust is painted white and the inside of the tips has black triangular lines that resemble stars.
This kind of attention to detail makes this custom build very desirable. I’m not remotely in a position to think about owning a motorcycle like this, but if you fancy one, then you can contact Neev Motorcycles through their social media handles.
