Triumph Kozhikode is offering customers the option to get their Triumph Scrambler 400 X modified with custom colours. Recently they unveiled one such colour scheme which looks inspired from Gulf Oil and it looks quite gorgeous.
The custom colour scheme covers the bike’s front fender and fuel tank, with the fender receiving a light blue and orange finish. The light blue colour covers the sides, while the orange runs through the length like a stripe. A black pinstripe has also been added to separate the orange stripe from the light blue.
Coming to the tank, the paint scheme offers a white finish at the sides, with a Gulf logo on the left side and a Triumph logo on the right. In the middle part of the tank, the bike gets a similar dual tone finish as the fender with the orange stripe and black pinstripes. But what adds a bit of extra flair to the bike is the beautiful Triumph badging in the middle of the tank.
Lastly, the Scrambler’s braced handlebar has been swapped out for a regular one. The split seat setup has been replaced with the Speed 400’s single-piece accessories seat, which is a bit more cushioned. The tail-tidy has also been removed in this one and makes the bike’s rear section look a bit more rugged.
Overall, this paint scheme and the addition of accessories have come at a price of Rs 35,000, with the cost of the paint scheme coming to Rs 28,000 and the Triumph Speed 400 accessories seat costing Rs 7,000. This custom paint scheme was a unique one created at the request of a customer, according to our sources at the dealership.
Other than the addition of the new colours and accessories, there have been no changes made to the bike’s performance. The Scrambler 400 X is still powered by the same 398.15cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that produces 40PS and 37.5Nm. It comes at an ex-showroom price of Rs 2,64,496. Recently the brand had announced discounts of Rs 10,000 on the bike. Here’s everything you need to know.
