With sales crossing the 50k mark, the Bajaj Pulsar 125 series leads the best-selling bikes in the Rs 1-2 lakh segment. However, when compared to May 2022 sales figures, the entry-level bike has witnessed a drop of 8.9 percent in sales. That said, the top-of-the-line variant of the Pulsar 125 retails at Rs 90,003 (ex-showroom Delhi), but the SIAM report only gives combined figures for both the 125cc models.
The second most sold bike for June is the iconic Royal Enfield Classic 350. Despite the high sales, the Classic has witnessed a massive 16.3 percent drop in sales compared to the previous month. However, the year-on-year growth is an impressive 37.6 percent. Please note, that the top-of-the-line variant of the Classic 350 crosses the Rs 2 lakh mark, while the base variant retails at 1,90,092. Even the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 features on the list, making it the second 350cc and RE bike.
Despite being one of the most performance and feature-packed bikes, the Apache series witnessed an astonishing drop of 45 percent, compared to May with a 57.4 percent year-on-year decline. The Yamaha FZ series, however, is seeing a good time with healthy growth in sales with a 54 percent YoY growth.
