The SIAM (Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers) sales data for May 2024 is out and here are Yamaha’s top five best-selling scooters and bikes with their year-on-year (YoY) and month-on-month (MoM) growth data: 

Yamaha MT 15 V2

The Yamaha MT 15 V2 is the naked version of the popular Yamaha R15 V4. The MT 15 is a small-capacity performance-oriented bike with a 155cc, liquid-cooled, four-valve, single-cylinder engine. Paired with a 6-speed gearbox, the engine makes 18.4PS at 10,000rpm and 14.1Nm at 7500rpm. The bike is equipped with an inverted fork and dual-channel ABS as standard.

The Yamaha RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid is one of the lightest scooters in the segment and features mild-hybrid technology which helps it give excellent mileage. It is powered by a 125cc fuel-injected hybrid engine producing 8.2PS and 10.3Nm. It has many notable features like the Smart Motor Generator System - a silent starter and even a stop & start system which turns off the engine automatically when idling in traffic for a while.
