As we step into 2025, the Indian two-wheeler market anticipates several exciting launches in the upcoming months. Here are the top 5 bikes and scooters that we are waiting for this year:
Hero MotoCorp recently patented the design for the XPulse 421. The bike is expected to feature a 421cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine producing somewhere between 40 to 45PS. Design elements include tank extensions, knuckle guards and a rear luggage rack. Features we can expect are a TFT display, all-LED lighting, and riding modes. The XPulse 421 is likely to launch in mid-2025, priced at approximately Rs 2.40 lakh (ex-showroom). It will compete with bikes like the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and the upcoming 2025 KTM 390 Adventure line-up.
While specific details are under wraps, it's speculated that TVS’ upcoming Adv bike will likely use the brand’s new liquid-cooled ‘RT-XD4’ 300cc engine. The bike might get features such as ride modes, a fully digital instrument cluster, and adjustable levers. It will take on rivals such as the Yezdi Adventure and the BMW G310 GS. Pricing will likely be around the Rs 2.50-2.75 lakh mark.
Triumph is expected to launch the Thruxton 400 sometime in 2025. It will be the cafe racer version of the Speed 400 and should be the most expensive of Triumph's 400cc bikes. . The bike will use design cues from the 1200cc Thruxton, as seen in spy shots. It will likely get clip-on handles and rear-set footpegs. Features will most probably remain the same as the Triumph Speed 400.
The 2025 Bajaj Pulsar RS200 is expected to be launched soon. The updated RS200 is expected to get new color schemes, graphics, and potential mechanical upgrades to meet the latest emission norms. Features like a slipper clutch and an updated fully digital instrument cluster may be part of the package. We expect a small price increase over the current model.
Hero MotoCorp is preparing to launch the new generation Destini 125 scooter, targeting urban commuters. The new Destini 125 comes with a refreshed design, new features, and improved fuel efficiency. It gets equipment like an LED headlamp, a digital-analog instrument cluster, and an external fuel-filling cap. The price could be slightly hiked with all the updates.
