The past week was quite eventful and filled with news and announcements, including an MoU with the Maharashtra Government and other interesting updates from the world of automobiles. Here’s a rundown of all of that transpired:

Tata’s Two New CNG Models Incoming..

Tata Motors will likely introduce the CNG iterations of the Tiago and Tigor in January 2022. It will be specced with the 1.2-litre petrol unit and could be limited to the mid-spec trims only. Also, interested customers can unofficially book theirs now at select dealerships.

Toyota’s Pick-Up Spied During A Shoot

The Toyota Hilux was earlier spotted undisguised during an ad shoot, hinting at an imminent launch. The pick-up will be a premium alternative to the Isuzu D-Max V-Cross in the country.

Facelifted Hyundai Venue Spied 

The facelifted Hyundai Venue was earlier spied in South Korea. It will feature a few touch-ups at the front and rear, with a new grille, connected LED tail lamps and more.

Facelifted Kia Seltos In The Works

Kia has begun road testing the facelifted Seltos, ahead of its expected launch in 2022. This update will likely pack the latest tech features, including ADAS, alongside cosmetic changes.

Current-Gen Mahindra Scorpio Spied With Camo

 

Mahindra is gearing up to give the current-gen Scorpio a mild update with revised bumpers and minor touchups. However, it will likely be limited to the base variants and could be sold alongside the upcoming new-gen model.

Maruti Suzuki Ertiga To Get A Facelift Soon

The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga was earlier spied with a covered grille and minimal updates at the rear. It will also get an updated features list, but without any changes underneath.
