The new Triumph Tiger Sport 660 has arrived at the company’s touch points across the country. The adventure sports bike carries an extremely premium price tag of Rs 8.95 lakh (ex-showroom India), making it more expensive than the Kawasaki Versys 650 and the Suzuki V-Strom 650XT. Check out our detailed walkaround video of the Tiger Sport 660 below:
The Tiger Sport 660 is meant to be the gateway motorcycle for big-bike touring aspirants, aiming to dethrone the Kwacker. While the Trident 660 was quite successful and was clearly justifying its premium over the Z650 quite well, we think things will not be so easy for the Tiger Sport 660.
It has more power, more electronics and certainly looks the more premium bike of the two. However, the price difference between the two is Rs 1.80 lakh, which is alarmingly high. Nevertheless, we should be riding the baby Triumph adventure sports machine soon and our first impressions on the bike should be live on our website on 11th April.
