Triumph India has caused a stir with its latest offerings, the Speed 400 and the Scrambler 400 X, as both bikes have received over 10,000 bookings in India. Bookings for both the bikes began right after their global unveiling. In fact, this took place within a mere three days after the Speed 400 was launched in India. Since this is the combined bookings’ figure, the Speed 400 can still be had for the introductory price of Rs 2.23 lakh (ex-showroom). Even without the introductory price, at Rs 2.33 lakh (ex-showroom), it's still mouth-watering. You can book either bike by paying a deposit of Rs 2,000. Here’s how to buy the Speed 400.
In other news, an on-road quotation of the Speed 400 has been doing the rounds on the internet, showing that some Triumph dealerships reportedly quoting as high as Rs 3.38 lakh on-road for the bike! But then Triumph immediately addressed and dispelled the rumors surrounding the exorbitant on-road price of the Speed 400. Check out the brand’s official statement here:
Triumph will be sending us the official on-road price breakup of the Speed 400 today. So stay tuned to ZigWheels for it.
Talking about the Speed 400, we’ve ridden the bike and we have a lot to talk about! But our opinions are embargoed till July 14. So keep a lookout till then to be among the first ones to catch our first ride review.
