Ultraviolette Automotive Goes Global!

Ultraviolette Automotive has truly gone global as the EV maker has announced that it has attained the global certification under the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) regulation for its F77 Mach 2 motorcycle. The manufacturer has received the L3e certification, which has approved the Mach 2 for road use for A1 and A2 licence holders across 40 countries worldwide, including the European Union. 

Currently, the EV maker is exporting the Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 to Germany and Turkey. The Bangalore-based manufacturer will be showcasing its lineup at EICMA 2024, to be held between November 5-10 in Italy. After that, it will start exporting the Mach 2 electric bike to several countries in the European Union with an introductory price of Rs 9,990 Euro (approx. Rs 9,09,119). 

The Ultraviolette Mach 2 electric bike was launched in April 2024 and is available at a price of Rs 2,99,000 (ex-showroom). It gets a 7.1kWh capacity battery pack, claimed range of 211km (the Recon variant gets 323km claimed range from a 10.30kWh capacity battery pack). The claimed top speed of the bike is 155kmph and it gets three ride modes: Glide, Combat and Ballistic. 

The EV maker unveiled the F99 electric superbike at EICMA 2023 and gets a 90kW liquid-cooled motor with a claimed top speed of 265kmph and gets winglets with active aerodynamics. It will be launched globally in 2025.
