So far, 2024 has been pretty interesting as we witnessed exciting bike and scooter launches including the Bajaj NS400Z, Hero Mavrick 440, Hero Xtreme 125R, Hero Splendor Xtec 2.0, TVS iQube ST, and more. But that’s not all, there are still many thrilling launches coming our way in the next six months. Here’s a list of what’s ahead:
We have received the first-ride invitation from Royal Enfield for mid-July, and we think it could be for the upcoming Guerilla 450 which was also spied several times in the past. The Royal Enfield Guerilla 450 will be the roadster version based on the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, and will share the same 450cc Sherpa engine. It could be priced at around Rs 2.60 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Chennai-based manufacturer has also filed for a trademark for the name “Royal Enfield Classic 650 Twin”, which suggests that the Classic 650 could also be launched in 2024. The Classic 650 will feature a similar design as the smaller Royal Enfield Classic 350, and will be based on Royal Enfield’s 650cc platform. Expected to be launched sometime between August and October 2024, it is likely to be priced at around Rs 3.20 lakh (ex-showroom).
This could also be followed by the launch of Royal Enfield Bullet 650, hopefully in late 2024. It will also be based on the brand’s 650cc platform. The Bullet 650 is likely to be priced at around Rs 3 lakh (ex-showroom).
As shared by CEO Rajiv Bajaj in an interview, the upcoming Bajaj CNG bike will be launched on June 18, 2024. It will be India’s first CNG bike and will likely be priced around Rs 80,000 (ex-showroom).
The Bajaj Pulsar N125 has been spotted testing a few times and is likely to be launched around the festive season, between October and November 2024. Bajaj may equip the bike with a brand new 125cc engine as the manufacturer’s current 125cc bikes are quite dated. It may be priced around Rs 1 lakh (ex-showroom).
Bajaj recently launched the Pulsar NS400Z in India. However, the "Z" in its name gives off a possibility of another variant of the bike, probably with a different suffix. Meanwhile, Rajiv Bajaj, in an interview has also hinted at a better Pulsar. The future variant of the Pulsar NS400 is likely to be more premium, with advanced features like a TFT console with Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and a radial front tyre, considering the NS400Z only gets a radial rear tyre.
The premium variant of the Bajaj Pulsar NS400 could be launched in late 2024 and is likely to come with a premium of around Rs 10,000 or Rs 12,000 over the Pulsar NS400Z which costs Rs 1,85,000 (introductory, ex-showroom Delhi).

On the EV front, Bajaj is also planning to launch a more affordable Chetak variant in June 2024. It was also spied earlier with the previous-gen Chetak’s LCD console, a physical key, an apron-mounted utility hook and two open cubby holes (current-gen Chetak has a closed glovebox). It may either get basic connectivity or a connectivity package as an optional feature.
To keep the cost low, Bajaj has equipped it with steel wheels and drum brakes on both ends. It is likely to be priced at around Rs 1 lakh or maybe just under it (ex-showroom, including the Electric Mobility Promotion Scheme or EMPS 2024 subsidy).
Hero MotoCorp may launch the Xtreme 210R in India around the festive season, likely in October 2024. The bike will feature an aggressive streetfighter design and will share the same 210cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine from the Karizma XMR. It is expected to be priced at around Rs 1.60 lakh (ex-showroom).
Pune-based electric two-wheeler maker BGauss is set to launch its new electric scooter, the RUV350, on June 4, 2024. The teaser suggests that the e-scooter will have a retro design and may be positioned between the brand’s entry-level BGauss C12 and flagship BGauss D12 electric scooters.
After the success of the Triumph Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 X, the British manufacturer is planning to launch the Triumph Thruxton 400 on the same 400cc platform. Previous spy shots suggest that it will have a cafe racer design with a frame-mounted half-fairing and a round headlight. Expected to be priced somewhat similar to the Scrambler 400X’s price, which is Rs 2,64,496(ex-showroom), it may be launched sometime in late 2024. That said, we may get to have a first look at the bike at EICMA 2024.
The British manufacturer is also likely to launch the 2024 Triumph Dayton 660 in India. The bike is already listed on Triumph India’s website, with prices to be announced soon. The sport bike comes with a 660cc liquid-cooled inline-triple engine that delivers 95PS and 69Nm. It is expected to be launched in October 2024. We think it could be priced at around Rs 9.20 lakh (ex-showroom).
The 2024 KTM 390 Adventure, and 390 Adventure R (which may also be called the 390 Enduro), have been spotted testing a couple of times in India. The spy shots reveal the upcoming 390 Adventure has a rally-inspired design with a big windshield and rally tower, whereas the 390 Enduro is more barebones and off-road focused. It will be equipped with the same 399cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine as the 390 Duke, but is expected to be in a different state of tune.
The upcoming 390 is expected to have a price tag of about Rs 3.80 lakh while the 390 Enduro may cost somewhere around Rs 3.60 lakh (both prices ex-showroom). Both bikes are expected to be launched by the end of 2024 if we’re lucky. However, they may be unveiled at EICMA 2024 ahead of the launch.
Yamaha could also launch the MT-09 in India, as revealed previously at a dealership event. The naked streetfighter is one of the most powerful bikes in the Japanese manufacturer’s portfolio. It is powered by an 847cc liquid-cooled 3-cylinder cross-plane engine that makes 115PS and 87.5Nm. The MT-09 is also likely to be launched in the festive season, perhaps in October-November 2024, with an expected price of Rs 13 lakh (ex-showroom).
The BMW R 1300 GS will be launched as a successor of the BMW R 1250 GS. It comes with a completely new, sleeker look that does away with the signature asymmetrical headlight design. The bike will also be lighter and is expected to be even more capable off the road. It may be launched in mid-June and is likely to be priced between 25-30 lakh (ex-showroom).
