Upcoming TVS Adventure Bike Spotted Testing

Quick Highlights

  • The upcoming TVS RTX Adventure bike has spotted testing

  • It will likely be called the TVS RTX 300

  • Could be launched by the end of 2025

The upcoming TVS RTX Adventure bike has been spotted testing for the first time ahead of its expected launch in 2025. This upcoming TVS bike will be the first ADV offering from the Hosur-based manufacturer. It will likely use the new TVS RT-X4D engine which was unveiled at MotoSoul 2024. Here’s everything you need to know.

The upcoming TVS Adventure bike will likely be called the TVS Apache RTX 300. We believe so because in the past the brand had trademarked the name “TVS Apache RTX” in the past. The suffix RTX also makes sense, as it is a shorter version of the ‘RT-X4D’ engine name.

TVS currently uses the RR suffix for their track-focuses supersport offering, whereas the RTR suffix is more common in the road-biased naked models. So their new off-road/ADV lineup could get the RTX suffix.

The recently unveiled RT-X4D engine is a 300cc motor, which outputs 35PS at 9,000rpm and 28.5Nm at 7,000rpm. The engine has a flatter torque curve compared to the 312cc motor used on the TVS Apache RR 310 and RTR 310.

This flatter torque curve will make the bike more beginner friendly and also more suited for offroad bikes. So the brand will likely use this new engine on the upcoming bike.

Judging by the spy shots, we know that the upcoming Apache RTX 300 has a typical ADV like look with a tall stance. It has a large windscreen, a half-fairing along with wide handlebars and a mid-set footpeg setup. TVS will also offer touring accessories with this bike, as evident by the top box mounted on the rear.

The bike will be a road-biased ADV judging by the alloy wheel setup it is running. In terms of underpinnings, the bike features a long travel suspension at both ends. It has an inverted fork and a monoshock. Braking duties are handled by discs at both ends.

Features wise, the bike will offers a digital instrument console, probably a TFTcolour  unit, similar to what TVS has offered on the TVS Apache RTR 310. Apart from that, one can expect ride modes, switchable ABS, traction control and cruise control to be on offer as well.

We expect the bike to be unveiled in a few months, with a launch potentially happening sometime by the end of 2025. The bike could come at a price that is around the Rs 2.8 lakh mark (ex-showroom). It will go up against other Adventure bikes in the market such as the Yezdi Adventure, the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and new KTM Adventure 390.
