Volkswagen Hikes Prices Across Its Range

If you were in the market for a Volkswagen car, then you will have to shell out a bit more than you would have to, as the carmaker has upped the prices across its range. While the Tiguan SUV has received the maximum price hike of Rs 71,000, prices of the Anniversary Edition Taigun get marked down by up to Rs 30,000.

Here’s the revised price list for all VW models:

Volkswagen Virtus 

• The top-spec GT Plus trim of the Virtus gets hit with the maximum hike of Rs 50,000.

• The base-spec comfortline gets the minimum price increment of Rs 10,000.

• The VW Virtus now retails between Rs 11.32 and Rs 18.42 lakh (ex-showroom).

Volkswagen Taigun

• The Topline automatic trim of the Taigun has received the maximum increase of Rs 26,000.

• The Anniversary Editions of the Taigun become more affordable with a price slack of up to Rs 30,000 on the automatic variant.

• Volkswagen Taigun is now priced from Rs 11.56 lakh to Rs 18.71 lakh (ex-showroom).

Volkswagen Tiguan

• Volkswagen has upped the prices of the Tiguan by Rs 71,000.

• It is offered in a single trim.

• The VW SUV is now priced at Rs 33.5 lakh (ex-showroom).
