    @ Kartikeya | The Volkswagen sedan is a good year and a half away. It is too early to say what it will be like. If you need a car now, you can consider the City.

    Honda city, even though one of the best sedans, is with 120 hp and CVT gearbox. CVT has the of rubberband effect which is not fun to drive for automatic transmission enthusiasts. Virtus, on the other hand is expected with 150 hp and DSG gearbox and should be a great car.If you need a car right now, it is Honda city.If you can wait till April 2022, then it is VW Virtus!(I have a 10 year old Vento, will be waiting till april 2022 for Virtus!)

    Both the cars are from different segments. Volkswagen Taigun is an SUV whereas Volkswagen Virtus is Sedan. The Virtus offers a strong balance of style, space, features, ride comfort, and performance. It has a classy design, spacious interior, intuitive infotainment package, and punchy petrol engines. On the other hand, Taigun isn't stepping up in terms of fit and finish, and although they will be delighted with all the knee room on offer, rear-seat width is still an issue as fitting three people in the back will be a squeeze. But if you look past this, the Volkswagen delivers, and how! It has a good amount of features, safety feature-wise too it feels sorted right from the base variant.       Volkswagen Virtus had become everyone's favourite after it has been launched. This sedan has a preety stylish design and interior also looks premium and sporty. It gives mileage of 18-20 kmpl and the engine is also powerful. I liked the spacious interior and comfortable seats of this car. The boot space is also large. Build quality is perfect achieving 5 star safety rating.

      Just last weekend, I had the pleasure of taking my new Volkswagen Virtus on a long trip to Lonavala with my wife.The spacious cabin was an instant hit with my family specially as the rear seats offer good legroom which makes our two hour drive feel like a smoothly goes river. I found the 1.0L TSI engine to be quite responsive, delivering 115 PS without taking a moment.However, while the 6 speed manual gearbox was smooth, I did feel the lack of a more powerful engine variant. But for its looks and design I will definitely full marks.

      After owning the Volkswagen Virtus for a few months now, I must admit, it has been a rollercoaster. Driving off the showroom floor, the Virtus felt like a dream with its 1.0L TSI engine that beautifully balances performance and fuel efficiency is perfect in today’s fuel price scenario. The cabin feels plush with German quality that Volkswagen is known for. But I can guarantee you that you will fall in love with the taillight for sure.The ground clearance, while sufficient for most roads, can make you cringe on those unexpected, monstrous speed bumps commonly found across Indian cities.
