This week was quite exciting for the two-wheeler world as a much-anticipated EV was launched, new details about a few upcoming bikes were revealed and much more. In case you missed out on them, here’s a quick lowdown for you:
The Ather Rizta was finally launched and its prices start from Rs 1,09,999 (ex-showroom Bengaluru, including EMPS 2024, which stands for Electric Mobility Promotion Scheme 2024). It has the largest seat among scooters in India and gets 34-litres of underseat storage space.
What started out as an April Fool’s joke later turned out to be somewhat real. Ola Electric teased a self-balancing scooter called Ola Solo on April 1, 2024. From visuals it looked like an April Fool’s joke and later Bhavish Aggarwal did confirm that suspicion. But he also stated that the EV maker is actually working on the technology behind a self-balancing scooter.
In light of the FAME 2 (Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of Hybrid and Electric Vehicles) subsidy ending in March 2024 and subsidies being reduced under EMPS 2024, the TVS iQube became costlier. Here’s how much the electric scooter costs now.

Bajaj Auto confirmed that the updated Bajaj Pulsar N250 will be launched on April 10, 2024. It will get updates in terms of an inverted fork and a new instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity.
The Bajaj CNG bike was spotted testing again. Bajaj Auto recently trademarked a name and we think this is what the upcoming CNG bike could be called.
The upcoming KTM 390 Adventure and an Enduro model, which could be called the Adventure R, were spotted testing together in India. This time around, we got to know a lot about its headlight design, tyre setup and much more.
A new dual-tone Black and Blue paint scheme was launched for the KTM 250 Duke. The paint scheme is quite similar to the Atlantic Blue paint job seen on the KTM 390 Duke.
The Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 was equipped with Pirelli Scorpion Rally tyres at the time of its launch. But now when the deliveries for the bike have started, the bike has been spotted with Apollo Tramplr XR tyres. Here’s why Bajaj is selling the Svartpilen 401 with Apollo tyres instead of Pirellis.
The next-gen Triumph Street Triple 765 has been spotted testing and because of some of the details we spotted on the bike, we think a brand-new Daytona 765 could also be on the cards.
