Speculations, teasers and more! This week had it all. In case you missed out on all the action, here’s a lowdown on them:
The Triumph Thruxton 400, based on the Speed 400, was spied testing abroad this week. It gets Triumph’s typical cafe racer styling with clip-on handlebars, rearset footpegs and bar-end mirrors.
The much-awaited more powerful upcoming version of the Ather 450X was teased this week and we now know that it will be called the 450 Apex. It will most likely get the same 3.7kWh capacity battery pack as the 450X with more power output. The transparent panels might also make a comeback with this model.
From two homologation documents that surfaced online, we got to know that the updated versions of the Bajaj Chetak’s Urbane and Premium variants are coming soon. The Premium variant, especially, will come with much better range.
The Simple Dot One will be launched on December 15 and it will be the more affordable version of the One. It will have a lesser range than the One and will be priced under the Rs 1 lakh mark.

Kawasaki India teased the Eliminator 450 this week and going by the hashtags, we think they’ll launch it at the 2023 India Bike Week, happening during the December 8-9th weekend.
