‘Tis the season of price hikes, and this time round it is Yamaha which has jacked up the asking price of all of its scooters. Here are their latest prices:

Rs 1600 |
Remarkably, the RayZR 125 MotoGP edition continues to carry the same price tag of Rs 81,330 that it has been sporting for the past couple of months. Perhaps this particular lot of scooters has already been made, with the majority of them sold out. Only a handful units might remain with the dealers and keeping the prices in check might be a ploy to get rid of said units quickly.
We figure the popularity of the Yamaha 125cc scooters might soar in the current climate. With petrol prices reaching Rs 120 per litre, the frugalness of the Fascino and RayZR 125 are bound to come in handy.
Despite the Rs 3000 hike for the Aerox, there’s no scooter quite as fast and sporty as it is in India currently. So, the audience for it will not be too affected by this price hike.
