Yamaha has launched the FZ-S FI V4 in two new shades and they look quite snazzy. Both colour variants come bearing a price tag of Rs 1,28,900 (ex-showroom Delhi), which is Rs 500 more affordable than the DLX variant.
Previously, the bike was only available in the DLX variant, and now the standard FZ-S FI V4 is available in two colours – Dark Matte Blue & Matte Black. Both look quite stealthy, flaunting a lovely matte finish.
The blue paint scheme features a dual-tone shade of blue, with black on the side panels, engine and fenders. It even gets a sleek white stripe on the wheels for a sporty appeal. The Matte Black shade is properly stealthy and features bright red ‘Version 4.0’ lettering on the fuel tank and stripes on the wheels.
Apart from this, the bike remains unchanged and comes powered by a 149cc single-cylinder engine churning out 12.4PS and 13.3Nm. It also comes equipped with traction control, a pretty unique feature for a bike in this segment in India.
In terms of rivals, the Yamaha FZ-S FI V4 goes up against the likes of the Bajaj Pulsar N160, TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, Hero Xtreme 160R, and Honda XBlade.
