There are no mechanical changes, but the bike gets a complete design overhaul

An Indonesia-based custom builder has converted Yamaha’s neo-retro motorcycle, the XSR 155, into a futuristic flat track bike as part of the Yamaha Yard Built program. While there are no changes to the mechanicals, the bike’s design has been overhauled, and it looks nothing like the original.

PapnMam Modified, the custom house, calls the bike a ‘Modern Flat Track Concept’. As the name suggests, the body styling is flat and sleek with sharper edges and a flowy design with a distinct triangular shape.

The custom XSR 155 gets an overall metal treatment on the body. Shrouding the metal fuel tank, the bike features what looks like metal wings projecting downwards, extending towards the radiator, making the bike look edgy. It also gets a bash plate with the same wing design.

Connecting the sharp tail section is another metal piece paired with the black seat, lending the bike an appealing contrast. Right under the seat, you will find a pair of pretty cool-looking exhaust pipes encased in a metal plate.

The fascia is rather intriguing, with a shiny flat metal unit that features a headlight setup hidden under the cover. The front also has a track-style handlebar, under-mounted circular bar-end mirrors, and a small round digital cluster.

The bike rides on Pirelli radial tubeless tyres wrapped in custom disc covers with a neon green rim lining.
