(UPDATE: Yezdi has launched all three bikes in India, head here to read the launch story.)
Last week, Yezdi finally teased its new motorcycle via social media. And soon after, Classic Legends (the company responsible for Yezdi’s resurrection) sent out a ‘Block The Date’ invite for January 13th, 2022, hinting that Yezdi could officially make a comeback on the said date.
So what’s coming? Well, two Yezdi motorcycles, the Road King Scrambler and the Adventure, have already been spotted multiple times in the past months. And in the latest sighting, both bikes were seen sans any camouflage, meaning their launch is pretty close.
The Yezdi Roadking Scrambler will be a modern take on Yezdi’s iconic Road King, while the Adventure will be a direct rival for the Royal Enfield Himalayan in the ever-so-popular entry-level ADV segment. Besides, the Scrambler is expected to employ the 293cc single-cylinder motor from the Jawa, while the ADV could use the Jawa Perak-derived 334cc engine.
The Yezdi Roadking Scrambler is expected to retail at around Rs 1.7 lakh-1.8 lakh (ex-showroom) and will rival the Honda CB350RS.
Meanwhile, the Yezdi Adventure could cost Rs 2.10 lakh (ex-showroom) while going head-on against the Royal Enfield Himalayan and the KTM 250 Adventure.
