The Classic Legends-owned brand will introduce a scrambler and an ADV tomorrow
(UPDATE: Yezdi has launched all three bikes in India, head here to read the launch story.)

Mahindra-owned Classic Legends is set to resurrect the Yezdi brand tomorrow in India with the launch of the Roadking Scrambler and Adventure. Though no official details are out yet, the numerous spy shots have left little to be revealed.

Both bikes borrow their engines from Yezdi's sister company, Jawa. While the Scrambler will likely use the Jawa's 293cc engine producing 27.33PS and 27.12Nm, the Adventure could get the Perak's 334cc engine that makes 30PS and 32Nm. However, given the motors' different applications in the new bikes, Yezdi will likely retune the engine.

Earlier, the Yezdi Adventure and Scrambler were spotted sans camouflage, revealing their styling. While the ADV seems like a Himalayan doppelganger, the Scrambler has a more original appeal, with its tuck-and-roll seat, wire-spoke rims, and an upswept exhaust.

Feature-wise, expect both bikes to be equipped with dual-channel ABS. We hope Yezdi offers the option to switch off the ABS, as its rivals do. The test mule of the Yezdi Adventure featured a digital instrument console (with probably a TFT display), so we expect it to come with navigation as well.

The Royal Enfield Himalayan will be the primary rival of the Yezdi Adventure, and we expect it to be priced at around Rs 2 lakh, undercutting the Himalayan by Rs 10,000. The Roadking Scrambler will rival the Honda CB350RS and the Husqvarna Svartpilen 250, and it could be priced at around Rs 1.95 lakh, making it more affordable than both its rivals.

Stay tuned for our launch story tomorrow to know the specification, pricing and other details.
