The Volkswagen Virtus is one good looking car in almost all shades that are currently on offer. And come June 2023, the carmaker is set to offer even more colour options and variant lineups for the compact sedan. The first of these colours, Lava Blue, has started reaching dealerships ahead of its introduction in June 2023.
We must admit that the Lava Blue colour does suit the sedan very well and makes it look very elegant. This new hue will be sold alongside the Rising Blue that takes a more sporty approach with the hue. Plus, the Lava Blue will be sold across the variant lineup, unlike Skoda’s approach with the Slavia, where it’s limited to just the newly launched Anniversary Edition.
Back to the Virtus, though and Lava Blue isn’t the only new paint that’ll be part of the sedan. Soon, Volkswagen will introduce the Deep Black Pearl colour with the sedan that looks stellar, especially with the GT variant that gets black alloys. Also, the GT Plus trim is set to become more affordable as it’ll get a six-speed stick shifter.
Select dealers across the country have started taking reservations and even initiated the delivery process for the new Lava Blue hue. And as for the new variant and black colour, they are set to be introduced in June 2023. Currently, the VW Virtus is priced from Rs 11.48 lakh (ex-showroom) and locks horns with Honda City, Hyundai Verna, Skoda Slavia and Maruti Ciaz.
