You Can Now Buy The Hero Splendor Plus In Its Original Colours

The Hero Splendor Plus is the best-selling bike in India and on top of that, its nameplate holds a lot of sentimental value among Indians (from the Hero Honda days). The OG colour scheme of the Hero Honda Splendor with the red and blue graphics upon the black paint-job is the one that defines the name “Splendor.”

Well, you don’t have to time travel to enjoy its nostalgia as Hero MotoCorp has made the OG Fiery Blue colour scheme available for the Hero Splendor Plus now. The colour scheme on the current Splendor is nearly identical to that of the original one, which will make the bike instantly recognisable on the street.

The Hero Splendor Plus is powered by a single-cylinder, air-cooled, 97.2cc, fuel-injected engine producing 8.02PS and 8.05Nm and comes mated to a 4-speed gearbox. It gets 130mm drum brakes at both ends and has a seat height of 785mm, wheelbase of 1,236mm, ground clearance of 165mm, kerb weight of 112kg and a fuel tank capacity of 9.8 litres.

The Splendor Plus is priced at Rs 74,491 (ex-showroom Delhi). Its rivals are the Honda Shine 100, TVS Radeon, TVS Sport, Honda CD 110 Dream and the Bajaj CT 110X.
