The Mahindra XUV 3XO will feature a refreshed design with revised fascia and updated headlight setup.
Will boast an updated cabin reminiscent of the XUV400 EV, with segment-first panoramic sunroof.
Features list includes a 10.25-inch infotainment system, 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, and dual-zone climate control.
Likely to retain current powertrain options of 1.2-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines.
Could get a torque converter automatic instead of the AMT offered with the outgoing car.
Expected to carry a notable premium over the current XUV300 which starts from Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
Mahindra is all set to unveil the facelifted version of its subcompact SUV, the XUV300, now renamed as the XUV 3XO. The carmaker is actively teasing it, providing its exterior and interior details ahead of the official reveal on April 29, 2024. If you're considering one, you can now reserve yours, as some dealerships across India have already started accepting bookings for the SUV.
While its design has not been fully revealed, the teaser showcased some of the highlights of the XUV 3XO. It includes a refreshed fascia with a gloss black grille flanked by redesigned headlights, seemingly inspired by the XUV700. The teasers also provided a glimpse of its updated alloy wheel design, while the rear is revised with a connected LED tail lamp and an updated tailgate featuring ‘XUV 3XO’ badging.
The XUV 3XO will boast a completely revamped cabin layout akin to that of the XUV400 EV, featuring a 10.25-inch floating infotainment unit, an updated centre console, and a host of new features with some being segment-first, like its panoramic sunroof.

Other new features of the XUV 3XO should include a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, dual-zone climate control, connected car tech, Android Auto/ Apple CarPlay connectivity, ventilated front seats, Type-C USB charging ports, and a wireless phone charger. On the safety front, it is expected to feature ADAS along with other safety kit like, up to six airbags, ABS with EBD, and electronic stability control.
The XUV 3XO will likely be offered with existing engine choices which include a 110 PS 1.2-litre turbo-petrol, a 130 PS 1.2-litre T-GDI turbo-petrol and a 117 PS 1.5-litre diesel engine. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual as standard and a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission for the diesel and base turbo-petrol.
The XUV 3XO is expected to command a notable premium over the current XUV300 which starts from Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It will continue to rival the likes of the Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Nissan Magnite, and Renault Kiger.
