The facelifted Kia Seltos comes in three broad trims: Tech Line, GT Line and X-Line. The updated SUV is now on display across Kia dealerships in India and pre-launch bookings are underway. We spent some time with the facelifted SUV in its GT Line guise and here’s everything you need to know about this trim in 10 images.
The Kia Seltos’ GT Line trim is the sportier looking version, while the Tech Line takes a more elegant approach. As a result, you get a different front bumper that looks a whole lot more aggressive. The Tiger Nose grille is the same and you get reprofiled LED DRLs and Audi-like dynamic turn indicators.
There are no bright red strips running across the car like the pre-facelift Seltos. However, this version now sits on 18-inch dual-tone alloys from the X-Line trim, giving it a much beefier stance than before.

At the rear, the highlight ought to be the connected LED tail lamps that look wicked, especially when it’s illuminated at night. It also gets a sportier rear bumper and if you opt for the turbo-petrol engine, you get twin exhaust outlets as well. Racey!
Unlike the Seltos X-Line that gets only one colour, the GT Line gets multiple colour options, details of which can be found here.
The dashboard layout and design is the same across all trims, which gets dual 10.25-inch screens that look upmarket and premium. However, in the GT Line trim, the interior comes finished in black with white inserts, giving it a sporty look. Even in terms of features, you get almost all the kit that’s found in the X-Line trim.
Highlights include connected car tech, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual-zone climate control, ventilated front seats, wireless phone charger, panoramic sunroof and a Bose sound system. The only thing missing here is an 8-inch head-up display.
In terms of safety, the Seltos packs six airbags, electronic stability control, 360-degree camera, electronic parking brake with auto hold, tyre pressure monitoring system and most importantly, ADAS.
As for powertrains, the Seltos GT Line gets the 160PS 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and 116PS 1.5-litre diesel engines, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic and 6-speed torque converter, respectively. If you want an iMT with these engines as well as the 115PS 1.5-litre petrol engine, you need to step down in the variant lineup.
Prices are expected to be announced in the coming weeks and it could start from around Rs 11 lakh (ex-showroom). It will continue to rival the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, VW Taigun, Skoda Kushaq as well as the upcoming Honda Elevate and Citroen C3 Aircross.
