In our earlier report, we gave you a detailed rundown of the 2024 Hyundai Creta facelift’s entry-level E variant. Today, we have sourced images of the one-above-base EX variant. Let’s look at what this particular variant gets over the entry-level model in our in-depth image gallery.
The Creta EX looks nearly identical to the entry-level E variant on the outside. That means you get a square grille without the dark chrome inserts, LED DRLs (albeit not connected) and halogen projector headlights. The only change keen-eyed viewers may notice is that the skid plate is finished in silver as opposed to dull grey in the base model.
Not much upgrades have been made to the side profile as well, where the EX version gets steel wheels with plastic covers, fender-mounted turn indicators and misses out on chrome touches.

The same story continues at the rear, where you get halogen connected tail lamps with an illuminated centre strip. However, look closely and you’ll find the presence of a shark fin antenna.

On the inside, one of the biggest additions here is the presence of an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system and steering-mounted audio controls. That said, there is no piano black detailing across the cabin, a design touch limited to higher-end variants. You’d also have to rely on fabric seats in this variant.
Other features on board include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a six-speaker sound system, manual AC, a digitised instrument cluster, keyless entry, fabric upholstery, rear AC vents, and USB Type-C charging ports.

Passenger safety is taken care of by six airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, electronic stability control and a tyre pressure monitoring system.
The 2024 Hyundai Creta EX can be had with either the 115PS 1.5-litre petrol or the 116PS 1.5-litre diesel engine, both teamed with a 6-speed manual. If you want an automatic transmission or the turbo-petrol engine, you’d have to step up the variant lineup. You can find more details about the variant-wise engine options of the Creta here.
The Creta EX petrol will set you back by Rs 12.18 lakh, while the same for the diesel engine is going to cost you Rs 13.68 lakh (both prices, ex-showroom). It locks horns with the Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Honda Elevate, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, and MG Astor.
