Hyundai has launched the new Alcazar facelift in India with prices ranging from Rs 14.99 lakh to Rs 21.55 lakh (ex-showroom). While the mid-size SUV retains its powertrains, it gets major updates in its design both inside and out, alongside plenty of new features. On top of that, Hyundai has updated its colour palette with two new matte shades, however, it has only one dual-tone option now. Let's take a look at all the colours being offered now:

Ranger Khaki

This lighter tweaked shade of green gives the car a look of sustenance. This same shade is also available on the Exter micro-SUV and Creta as well.

Robust Emerald

This shiny-darker shade of green makes the car look regal. It is very similar to the Creta’s Robust Emerald Pearl hue.

Robust Emerald Matte

Like the green Robust Emerald shade but wanted it in matte? No need for any aftermarket treatment! 

Starry Night (Blue)

This dark hue of Blue makes the car look premium as well as elegant.

Fiery Red

A punchy red hue that makes the car a lot sportier. It is the brightest shade in the Alcazar’s colour palette. 

Abyss Black

This pure-black shade is definitive of a sinister look for the buyers. It adds credence and dominance to the SUV’s look. 

Atlas White

Clear and soulful. It is sure to appeal to luxury-loving buyers and the ones who want a simple and sober exterior shade.

Titan Grey Matte

Creta’s Titan Grey has been given the matte treatment in the Alcazar. Looks striking in the flesh! 

Atlas White with Black roof

Well, this is the only go-to option for people looking for a dual-tone. The clear White body with a Black roof is the epitome of contrasting colours done right. This is only available with the Platinum and Signature variants.

Hyundai Alcazar Facelift: Features

The Hyundai Alcazar facelift is rich with features like a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, ventilated seats in front and 2nd row, wireless phone charger, an 8-way adjustable powered front seats with memory function for the driver, automatic climate control, push-button start/stop and an 8-speaker Bose sound system.

For safety, the new Alcazar features six airbags, ABS with EBD, hill start assist and hill descent control, electronic stability control, tyre pressure monitoring system, a 360-degree camera with blind view monitor and Level-2 ADAS features.

Hyundai Alcazar Facelift: Powertrain

The Hyundai Alcazar facelift retains its powertrain which was offered with 2 engine options: a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. For transmission, it gets a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT mated to the petrol engine and a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic coupled with the diesel engine.

Hyundai Alcazar Facelift: Price And Rivals

The Hyundai Alcazar’s price ranges from Rs 14.99 lakh to Rs 21.55 lakh (ex-showroom). It competes with the MG Hector Plus, Tata Safari, and the 6/7-seater variants of the Mahindra XUV700. It can also be considered a rival to some MPVs like Kia Carens and Toyota Innova Crysta.
