The visual enhancements to the facelifted i20 are most prominent at its front end. A Verna-inspired cascading grille, paired with redesigned LED headlights, instantly catches the eye. The front bumper has also undergone subtle revisions, featuring sharply sculpted airdams. While these modifications at the front make a bold statement, the changes from other angles are more restrained. The updates are subtler at the rear, limited to the bumper.
Inside the cabin of the facelifted i20, the layout remains consistent with the outgoing model, but now in a black/grey colour scheme. Also, it now gets USB Type-C chargers to keep up with the times. Most importantly, six airbags, electronic stability control, parking sensors, and hill start assist are now offered as standard across the line.

Its features list is pretty much the same as before, consisting of a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, automatic climate control, a digital driver’s display, sunroof, wireless phone charger, keyless entry with push-button start and cruise control have been carried forward.
Underneath the hood, the i20 now gets just the 83PS 1.2-litre petrol engine, teamed with either a 5-speed manual or a CVT. The 1-litre turbo-petrol engine has been deleted from the standard car, but we expect it to be offered with the facelifted Hyundai i20 N Line that’s coming soon.
The facelifted Hyundai i20 continues to lock horns with the Tata Altroz, Maruti Suzuki Baleno and Toyota Glanza.
