2024 Kia Seltos Launched: Features Rejigged And Prices Of Automatic Option Reduced

Kia India has given the popular Seltos compact SUV a bunch of variant-wise revisions as part of its 2024 model year updates. You now get more affordable automatic variants and a couple of higher-end features have been introduced in the lower variants. Here’s a look at all the updates Kia has made to the 2024 Seltos:

New Automatic Variants Introduced 

In a bid to make the automatic variants more accessible due to their popularity, Kia India has introduced the automatic transmission for the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol and diesel engines in the mid-spec HTK+ variant. As a result, the automatic variants now have an entry point that is Rs 1.3 lakh more affordable than before. 

Earlier, the same for both the engines were offered from the HTX trim onwards. Here’s a look at the prices of the new variants:

Additional Colours Introduced In Lower-end Variants 

Kia has also introduced new colourways in the lower-end variants of the Seltos. Take a look at the additional options here:

The introduction of new body colour options in the base variant does make it more appealing as it was earlier offered with just two shades: Sparkling Silver and Clear White. 

Kia Seltos Rivals In India 

It’s clear that these measures are being introduced following customer feedback since the facelifted SUV debuted in July 2023, making the Seltos even more appealing than before. It locks horns with other compact SUVs such as Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, Honda Elevate, VW Taigun, Skoda Kushaq and MG Astor.
