The 100 Million Edition commemorates the brand’s production milestone

In January this year, Hero MotoCorp hit the 100 million production mark, and to commemorate the achievement, announced the 100 Million Edition versions of six of its most popular models. After launching the Xtreme 160R 100 Million Edition last week, Hero has now launched the Splendor Plus, Passion Pro 110, and the Glamour 125 in the exclusive livery. The special edition bikes demand a premium of Rs 1,800.

Once known for being the most economical motorcycle in our market, the Splendor is now the priciest in its segment. It locks horns with the newly-launched Bajaj Platina ES. TVS also recently launched the BS6-compliant Commuter Of The Year Edition of the Radeon, which despite having a powerful engine is more economical than the Splendor.

The Passion Pro competes with the TVS Star City Plus (which too got a disc brake variant last month) and the Honda Livo. As for the Glamour, it goes up against the Honda SP125.

The 100 Million Edition models only get the exclusive livery but no change to their mechanicals. So, unless you are in awe of the white-and-maroon paint scheme, you are better off saving some money and buying the standard models.
