The starting price of the Hyundai SUV is a lot less than the price of the outgoing version. Here, while the starting price of the petrol and diesel varinats are different, the prices of the rest of the variants are the same for both powertrains. If you want the matte or the dual-tone matte shade, you'll need to shell out Rs 15,000 extra.
You have seen this design language before, and it was seen in the facelifted Hyundai Creta. The updated Alcazar gets the same connected LED DRL setup but with H-shaped lighting elements, however, the logo placement is slightly different here. It gets a massive grille with slim horizontal inserts, flanked by boxy LED headlights and a big bumper with a chunky silver skid plate.

The silhouette remains the same as before, and the one big change on the profile is the new design for the alloy wheels. The updated Alcazar comes with 8-spoke dual-tone 18-inch alloy wheels, the design of which adds sportyness to the stance of this SUV.
At the back, it gets a similar treatment as the front with a connected tail lamp setup and H-shaped elements at the edges. There is a chrome strip above the tail lamps for contrast, and the “Alcazar” badging below it. Just like the front, the rear also gets a big bumper with a silver skid plate.
The Alcazar facelift can be had in 9 colour options including Robust Emerald Matter (new), Robust Emerald, Titan Grey Matte, Starry Night, Ranger Khakhi, Fiery Red, Abyss Black, and Atlas White. The Atlas White is also available in a dual-tone shade which comes with a black roof.
The dashboard design of the updated Alcazar is the same as the new Hyundai Creta, but in a dark blue and tan dual-tone theme. The dash features the same elements including the dual-screen setup, horizontally-placed sleek AC vents, and a gloss black strip with a chrome insert.

The cabin gets leatherette upholstery with soft touch materials on all corners, and there has been a generous use of gloss black and chrome elements on the centre console, doors, and steering wheel. Just like the pre-facelift version, the new Alcazar is still being offered in both 6- and 7-seater options, where the former gets captain seats with adjustable underthigh support and ventilation in the second row.
The updated Alcazar gets a dual-screen setup which has a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display. It also gets dual-zone climate control, Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, wireless phone chargers for both front and 2nd row seats, a panoramic sunroof, and cruise control.
It also gets ventilated front seats and ventilated 2nd row seats (6-seater variants), along with 8-way power adjustment for the front ones with memory functionality for the driver. With this update, the Alcazar also gets electric boss mode, which allows the rear-seat chauffeur driven passenger to control the front passenger seat.
In terms of safety, it gets 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control (ESC), a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), hill start assist, hill descent control, all-wheel disc brakes, an electronic parking brake with auto hold, and a 360-degree camera with a blind view monitor.
