The Mahindra XUV 3XO now gets a significantly overhauled fascia, featuring a new gloss black grille with chrome slats, flanked by a new pair of LED headlights with DRLs, reminiscent of the XUV700. A revised bumper In profile, save for the new alloys, no changes have been made.
The rear is brand new, with the 3XO now featuring a new set of connected LED tail lamps. You get bold ‘XUV 3XO’ badging and the number plate housing now takes position in the rear bumper.
Step inside the Mahindra XUV 3XO and you’ll notice that it gets a brand new dashboard (a much-needed update) borrowed from the updated XUV400 EV. As is the norm with most cars, it now gets a large floating touchscreen infotainment system, with sleek central AC vents and updated controls for the dual-zone climate control.
The steering wheel design is the same as before, but now gets gloss black inserts as opposed to the silver finish of the outgoing car. It also gets a whole lot of new features, details of which will be covered in the next section.

The XUV 3XO gets a handful of feature additions over the outgoing car, including a panoramic sunroof (segment-first), a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a wireless phone charger connected car tech, and a 7-speaker Harman / Kardon sound system. Most importantly, it packs in Level-2 ADAS, whose suite includes lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control and autonomous emergency braking.
Bits such as dual-zone climate control, cruise control, keyless entry with push-button start, six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, and front and rear parking sensors have all been carried forward from the outgoing XUV300.
Underneath the hood, you continue to get the 130PS 1.2-litre T-GDI turbo-petrol and a 117PS 1.5-litre diesel engine option. The base 110PS 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine offered before is discontinued. A 6-speed manual is offered as standard and the T-GDI turbo-petrol engine now gets an optional 6-speed torque converter. Meanwhile, the diesel engine continues with its 6-speed AMT.
