Nissan India has launched the Magnite Geza edition in the country at Rs 7.39 lakh (ex-showroom). This new edition builds on the one-above-based XL variant, commanding a Rs 35,000 premium, and is offered with the base-spec 1-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine.
Geza in Japanese means “off-stage musical accompaniment and sound effects.” And this particular edition stays true to its name as most of the upgrades made are on the infotainment front. For the extra dough, here are the additional features you get:
9-inch touchscreen infotainment system
Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay
JBL sound system
Rear parking camera with trajectory guidelines
Ambient lighting with App-based controls
Shark fin antenna
Beige coloured upholstery
The Magnite Geza Edition is offered only with the base petrol engine: a 72PS 1-litre naturally aspirated unit paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. In addition to this, the Magnite also gets a 100PS 1-litre turbo-petrol engine, paired with either a 5-speed manual or a CVT.
The Nissan Magnite continues to rival the likes of models such as Tata Punch, Renault Kiger, Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon and Maruti Suzuki Brezza.
