In the crowded compact SUV segment in India, the Curvv distinguishes itself with its unique design. While the front fascia of the Curvv may appear inspired by existing Tata models like the facelifted Nexon and Harrier, its coupe roofline sets it apart and makes it a head-turner.
Up front, the Curvv features connected LED DRLs and LED headlights similar to those on the Nexon, while the front grille and air dam appear inspired by the Harrier. Along the sides, the Curvv sports 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, and one of its standout features is the flush-type door handles, a first for a Tata vehicle and even the segment.
At the rear, it also boasts connected LED tail lights. Both the front and rear connected LED lighting elements include welcome and goodbye animations, along with sequential turn indicators for the top-spec trims.
Inside, the Curvv’s dashboard layout is similar to that of the Tata Nexon, though it features a 4-spoke steering wheel borrowed from the Harrier. The Curvv offers a dual-tone interior theme, with the color options varying depending on the variant you choose.
The Tata Curvv comes loaded with amenities like a 12.3-inch touchscreen, a 10.25-inch fully digital driver’s display, ventilated front seats, wireless phone charging, ambient lighting, a 9-speaker JBL sound system, and a panoramic sunroof. Passenger safety is taken care of by 6 airbags (as standard), a 360-degree camera with blind view monitoring, electronic parking brake with auto-hold, all-wheel disc brakes and a complete suite of level 2 ADAS.
The Curvv gets the option of a new 1.2-litre T-GDi turbo-petrol engine, while it also borrows turbo-petrol and diesel engines from the Nexon. The detailed specifications are as follows:

1.2-litre TGDi (direct injection) turbo-petrol |

The Nexon is the first mass market car in India to come with a diesel DCT combination.
The Tata Curvv is a more expensive rival to the Citroen Basalt, while it can also be regarded as a stylish alternative to some compact SUVs like Hyundai Creta, Maruti Grand Vitara, Volkswagen Taigun, and Honda Elevate.
