The compact SUV segment recently saw a new entrant in the form of the facelifted Kia Seltos. However, if you’re ready to wait for a bit, you’ll get another sought after option in the form of the Honda Elevate. So if you’re someone who has your eyes set on these two SUVs, this report is for you as we jot down 5 features the Kia Seltos gets over the Honda Elevate.
Let’s say you want your compact SUV with either a diesel or turbo-petrol engine, then it’s the Seltos that gets these two as the Honda Elevate is offered with just the 121PS 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. The Seltos, on the other hand, is offered with three engines: 115PS 1.5-litre petrol, 116PS 1.5-litre diesel, and the fast and fun 160PS 1.5-litre turbo-petrol.
The Honda Elevate gets a single-pane sunroof that does the job. But if you want something to show off to your friends or family, then the Seltos, with its panoramic sunroof, does it better. Not only does it give a much more premium appeal, the Seltos’ panoramic unit lets in more light and makes the cabin feel airier.
Kia offers the Seltos in three trim options: Tech Line, GT Line and X-Line. And all three trims look a bit unique thanks to their distinctive styling touches. And it’s not just the exterior that’s being tinkered around with as there are changes on the inside too. You can take a look at the styling changes of all three trims by clicking these links below:

In contrast, the Honda Elevate doesn’t get any trims.
In a country where it’s hot most of the time, ventilated front seats are a boon to have. And the Seltos’ front seats boast this feature, which is very useful in our scorching summers. Not only that, the driver’s seat in the Seltos also has a powered function, making it easier to find the right driving position. No ventilated or powered driver’s seat in the Elevate, sadly.
The Kia Seltos gets a segment-first dual-zone climate control system, allowing the driver and co-driver to set the temperature of their preference. So if the driver likes it cold and the co-driver likes it warm, the Seltos allows you to do that. In the Elevate, you’d have to contend with a single-zone climate control system which keeps a predefined temperature for the entire cabin.
These are the 5 things the facelifted Kia Seltos gets over the Honda Elevate. The Kia SUV is priced from Rs 10.9 lakh (ex-showroom). On the other hand, the Honda Elevate’s prices are expected to be announced in the upcoming festive season and could start from around Rs 11 lakh (ex-showroom).
