The Indian luxury car market has seen a steady growth over the last few years, attracting attention of luxury carmakers more than ever. Out of all luxury cars that are sold in this country, luxury SUVs have a major contribution. This year has been eventful for the luxury SUV segment with numerous launches from many brands. So, we have created a list of all luxury SUVs that came to India in 2024.
Porsche Macan EV
Price range - Rs 1.22 crore to Rs 1.69 crore (ex-showroom)
Porsche introduced its first-ever electric SUV, the Macan EV this year. Based on a new EV-only platform, it comes in 3 trims: standard, 4S, and Turbo. It features a 100 kWh battery pack and features an 800V architecture, enabling ultra-fast charging capabilities. The top-spec Macan Turbo offers a claimed range of up to 590 km (WLTP), and its dual-motor setup generates 584 PS and up to 1,130 Nm. It can be charged with a 270 kW DC fast charger at a suitable charging station.
Bentley Bentayga EWB Opulence Edition
For the first time, British marque Bentley made market-specific special edition models for India, called Opulence Edition. This bespoke Mulliner range includes the Continental GT, Flying Spur Speed, and Bentayga EWB Azure. The Bentayga EWB Azure, with this Opulence Edition, features a special Scarab Green paint option, while the interior adorns a blend of Mandarin and Cumbrian Green hide – a tribute to India’s national colours. Interestingly, Bentley made only 3 examples of the Bentayga Opulence Edition that comes with a 4-seat configuration and Mulliner console bottle cooler.
Maserati Grecale
Price range - Rs 1.31 crore to Rs 2.05 crore (ex-showroom)
Maserti, the Italian marque, introduced its new entry-level luxury SUV, the Grecale in India. The SUV features a blend of elegant and sporty look on the outside that also resembles the Levante. The cabin of the Grecale is both modern and minimalist, plus there is a familiar analogue clock in the centre of the dashboard. Available in GT, Modena, and Trofeo, the SUV gets a 2-litre 4-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that makes 300 PS and 450 Nm in the GT trim. Whereas, the Modena produces 330 PS and 450 Nm with the same powertrain. The range-topping Grecale Trofeo is powered by a 3-litre V6 motor that delivers 530 PS and 620 Nm.

Rolls Royce Cullinan Facelift
Price - Rs 10.50 crore (ex-showroom) onwards
Rolls Royce introduced the Cullinan facelift in India in September this year. This mild-life update brought subtle changes to the exterior and interior of the SUV, including a redesigned fascia with an illuminated grille, new 23-inch alloy wheels, a new glass panel for the dashboard, and fresh upholstery. Powering the Cullinan facelift is the 6.75-litre V12 petrol engine that generates 571 PS and 850 Nm. It is paired with an all-wheel drive system and an 8-speed automatic transmission.
Kia EV9
Price - Rs 1.30 crore (ex-showroom)
Kia, the South Korean automaker, launched its high-end electric SUV in India in a single GT-Line AWD variant. The SUV features Kia’s fresh design language inside and out. Apart from all the bells and whistles, it comes with a 99.8 kWh battery pack coupled to a dual electric motor setup, which makes 384 PS and 700 Nm. The EV9 claims to deliver a range of 561 km (ARAI), and supports up to 250 kW DC fast charging.
Audi Q7 Facelift
Price - Rs 88.66 lakh (ex-showroom)
Audi India launched the refreshed Q7 in the country with subtle design changes and slightly updated interior. The India-spec model comes in a choice of 5 colours, and the cabin gets a Cedar Brown theme. Key features include 19-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system, a panoramic sunroof, four-zone AC, 8 airbags, and ADAS. Having said that, the Q7 facelift continues with the 3-litre turbocharged V6 petrol engine that makes 340 PS and 500 Nm.
Audi Q8 Facelift
Price - Rs 1.17 crore (ex-showroom)
Audi brought an update to its Q8 after almost four years since its introduction. As a part of the mild-life facelift, the SUV got a slightly redesigned exterior, especially the front end. On the inside, the layout is unchanged but comes with several upholstery options. Powering the Q8 facelift is the same 3-litre turbo-petrol V6 engine that makes 340 PS and 500 Nm. It is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission.
Range Rover Evoque Facelift
Price - Rs 67.90 lakh (ex-showroom)
The Range Rover Evoque facelift was launched this year in a single Dynamic SE trim. Notably, the updated SUV received a substantial price drop of Rs 5.17 lakh over the previous model. Even with the facelift, the Evoque retains its familiar styling but with a few minor changes, such as slimmer headlights and new set of alloy wheels. On the other hand, the interior is more minimalistic and features a dual-tone theme. It is available with 2-litre 4-cylinder petrol and diesel engines paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission. The petrol unit makes 249 PS and 365 Nm, while the diesel motor produces 204 PS and 430 Nm.
Updated Land Rover Discovery Sport
Price - Rs 67.90 lakh (ex-showroom)
British marque JLR also introduced the refreshed Discovery Sport in India. It comes in a single Dynamic SE trim with both petrol and diesel variants. While the 2-litre petrol engine delivers 248 PS and 365 Nm, the 2-litre diesel unit makes 203 PS and 430 Nm. Outside, there are reworked headlights and new alloy wheels but the interior boasts major changes, such as a new infotainment system, a new steering wheel, and a redesigned gear selector.
Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680
Price - Rs 2.25 crore (ex-showroom)
German luxury automaker, Mercedes-Benz launched its first-ever electric Maybach SUV, the Maybach EQS 680 in India this year. It comes with a typical Maybach design, including a large grille with vertical chrome slats. The interior also features a unique upholstery, plus there are two captain seats in the rear with ventilation, heating, and massage functions. Powering the Maybach EQS 680 is a 102 kWh battery pack that offers a claimed range of 611 km, while its dual-motor setup generates 658 PS and 950 Nm.
Mercedes EQS SUV
Price - Rs 1.41 crore (ex-showroom)
Shortly after the launch of the Maybach EQS 680, Mercedes-Benz introduced the EQS SUV in the country. The electric SUV features a design similar to its EQ range siblings. Another highlight of the EQS SUV includes the MBUX Hyperscreen comprising 3 screens. Available in a single trim, called the 580 4Matic, it gets a 122 kWh battery pack with an ARAI-claimed range of 809 km and supports DC fast charging of up to 200 kW. The dual-motor setup is capable of producing 544 PS and 858 Nm.
Mercedes-Benz EQB Facelift
Price range - Rs 70.90 lakh to Rs 77.50 lakh (ex-showroom)
Mercedes-Benz updated its three-row EQB and is now available in two trims: EQB 250+ and EQB 350 4Matic AMG Line. The latter comes only in a 5-seat layout. The exterior and interior received a minor redesign, while the cabin still comes with the same two-screen setup. In terms of powertrain options: the entry-level trim comes equipped with a 70.5 kWh battery pack with a claimed range of 535 km. On the other hand, the top-spec trim has a 66.4 kWh unit that delivers a range of 447 km.
Mercedes-Maybach GLS Facelift
Price - Rs 3.35 crore (ex-showroom) onwards
One of the most expensive luxury SUVs, the Maybach GLS, was launched in India in an updated form. Although the changes to the design and interior are minor, they help it keep a fresh look. Not to mention the ample chrome and plenty of Maybach logos are also part of the update. The interior is identical to the previous version except for the new steering wheel. Powering the Maybach GLS is the same 4-litre turbocharged V8 engine that comes mated to a 48V mild hybrid system. Power output stands at 557 PS and 730 Nm.
Mercedes-Benz GLA Facelift
Price - Rs 51.75 lakh to Rs 58.15 lakh (ex-showroom)
Mercedes’ smallest SUV, the GLA, received cosmetic tweaks to the exterior and interior this year. Key highlights include redesigned headlights and taillights, new alloy wheels, and a fresh new colour. Inside, there is a revamped centre console, a new steering wheel, and updated trims. Also on offer are several new features, including a 360-degree camera, a powered tailgate, and blind spot assist. The GLA 200 is powered by a 1.3-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine that makes 163 PS and 270 Nm, while the GLA 220d 4Matic and 220d AMG Line 4Matic use a 2-litre diesel unit that produces 190 PS and 400 Nm.
Mercedes-Benz EQA
Price - Rs 66 lakh (ex-showroom)
The electric equivalent of the GLA, the Mercedes-Benz EQA, arrived in India this year in a single trim. It features a design similar to the GLA but with a few design cues taken from its elder EQ siblings. In fact, the interior is also reminiscent of the GLA. It is powered by a 70.5 kWh battery pack that offers a claimed range of 560 km (WLTP), and has a single motor that delivers 190 PS and 385 Nm.
Mercedes-Benz GLS Facelift
Price range - Rs 1.32 crore to Rs 1.37 crore (ex-showroom)
Last but not least, the Mercedes-Benz GLS was also launched in India. It retains the overall design inside and out but gets subtle cosmetic changes. Available in 450 and 450d trims, 3-litre 6-cylinder petrol and diesel are available as options. The petrol engine makes 381 PS and 500 Nm, while the diesel version delivers 367 PS and 750 Nm.
