Here Is The List Of All Tata Cars Likely To Be Launched In 2025

We have seen a wide variety of launches and unveils this year. Some of them were the biggest highlights while others were the game changer for the automotive industry. Now, the new year is expected to be even more exciting with a lot of new car launches and unveils, including the first-ever electric vehicles from Maruti Suzuki and Toyota, an electric sports car from MG, and an extremely popular sedan from Skoda. Here are the most significant launches and unveils that will likely happen next year.
e Vitara
Confirmed Debut on 17 January, 2025
Expected price: Rs 20 lakh
The e Vitara is one of the most anticipated launches of 2025 and the first-ever electric vehicle (EV) from Maruti Suzuki. The electric SUV is expected to make its debut at the upcoming Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. Internationally, it is offered with two battery packs and a choice of two drivetrain options, including an all-wheel drive version. Expect a claimed range to be around 550 km.
Grand Vitara 7-seater
Expected debut in June 2025
Expected price: Rs 13 lakh
Maruti Suzuki has been working on a 3-row SUV, which will be based on the on-sale Grand Vitara. This Hyundai Alcazar and Mahindra XUV 700 rival is likely to be unveiled sometime in mid-2025. The details about its engine specifications are yet to come out but it is expected to borrow the powertrain from the current Grand Vitara.
Creta EV
Expected debut on 17 January, 2025
Expected price: Rs 20 lakh
One of the hottest launches of the next year will surely be the Hyundai Creta EV. Although Hyundai has already introduced two all-electric cars in the market, the Hyundai Kona (which was discontinued a while ago) and the Hyundai Ioniq 5, the upcoming Creta EV will be its first mass-market all-electric offering. The electric SUV is expected to deliver a claimed range north of 500 km.
Sierra ICE & EV
Expected debut on 17 January, 2025
Expected price: Rs 11 lakh (Sierra ICE) and Rs 20 lakh (Sierra EV)
Tata Motors will bring back one of its iconic nameplates, the Sierra, in a new avatar. Expected to make a debut at Bharat Mobility Expo 2025, the Sierra is expected to be available in both ICE and electric avatars. In fact, the concept model of the SUV has already been showcased a few times. That said, the Sierra may debut Tata’s new 170 PS 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine. On the other hand, the Sierra EV is likely to be available with a range of around 400-500 km.
Harrier EV
Expected debut on 17, January 2025
Expected price: Rs 24 lakh
Another big launch from Tata Motors could be the new Harrier EV. Like the Sierra, the brand has already showcased the Harrier EV a couple of times. In terms of design, the upcoming Harrier EV closely resembles the on-sale Harrier except for a few distinct styling elements. Having said that, the powertrain specifications are not available at the moment but the electric SUV could offer a range of about 500 km.
Thar 3-door Facelift
Expected launch in April 2025
Expected price: Rs 11.50 lakh
With the launch of the new Mahindra Thar Roxx, we are expecting the Thar 3-door to get a mid-life update next year. In line with the updates on the Thar 5-door, the Thar 3-door could feature subtle design changes and a revamped cabin with added features, such as a larger infotainment system, and a better-quality interior. Engine and transmission options are likely to be unchanged, but it might gain ADAS, which is also available on the Thar Roxx
XEV 7e
Expected launch in March 2025
Expected price: Rs 20 lakh
Mahindra is likely to introduce the XEV 7e in India in early 2025 – a 3-row electric SUV that will be based on the XUV 700. Interestingly, the pictures and several details about the upcoming XEV 7e were recently leaked on the internet. The electric SUV features an exterior design and interior similar to the new XEV 9e, according to the leaked images. Notably, it is likely that the XEV 7e will share its powertrain with its other siblings.
Syros
Expected launch in February 2025
Expected price: Rs 9.50 lakh
Kia recently announced the all-new Syros for the Indian market, however, its prices were not revealed at the unveiling. The Syros brings segment-first features, such as rear-seat ventilation, side parking sensors, and dual 12.3-inch displays. It is powered by a 120 PS 1-litre turbo-petrol engine and 116 PS 1.5-litre diesel unit. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed automatic, and a 7-speed DCT transmission.
Carens EV
Expected debut in April 2025
Expected price: Rs 15 lakh
Kia is expected to showcase an all-electric equivalent of the on-sale Carens, the Carens EV, in early next year. It will offer a three-row layout similar to its sibling. It may feature a distinct design language that is in line with Kia’s latest cars and comes equipped with a host of features and safety equipment. Although the official details about its battery pack, electric motor, and range are unavailable, we expect the Carens EV to deliver a range north of 500 km.
Expected launch in mid-2025
Expected price: Rs 10 lakh
The new generation Duster is a long-awaited SUV in India and it is a possibility that Renault will launch it in mid-2025. With the generational update, the Duster does not only feature a new design and interior but also gets a host of features and hybrid powertrains. In fact, there are two petrol engine options – both paired with a mild hybrid and a strong hybrid powertrain. Renault might introduce both hybrid powertrains in the Indian market.

Expected price: Rs 10 lakh
Nissan has already teased a new SUV for the Indian market and this is likely to be the comeback of the Terrano. We expect the carmaker to showcase the SUV in the country sometime in mid-2025. That said, the upcoming compact SUV could share some components and engines as well as transmission with the new Renault Duster. However, it is expected to bear a completely different design and interior layout.
Fortuner MHEV
Expected debut in 2025
Expected price: Rs 35 lakh
The Fortuner has been a known name even before SUVs became what they are today. The second generation of the SUV was launched in 2016 and the next year it could get a major update. Some international markets recently received a refreshed Fortuner with a mild-hybrid functionality paired with a 204 PS 2.8-litre diesel engine. The updated India-spec model may follow suit with its expected update.
Urban Cruiser EV
Expected debut in May 2025
Expected price: Rs 23 lakh
Recently, Toyota revealed the new all-electric Urban Cruiser, which is essentially an electric SUV based on the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara. It features an exterior design similar to the e Vitara, while the interior is almost identical. Internationally, it comes powered by two battery pack options: 49 kWh and 61 kWh with the latter also available with an all-wheel drive version. The power output ranges from 144 PS to 184 PS. However, the official range is yet to be disclosed but it is expected to be around 550 km.
Hyryder-based 3-row SUV
Expected todebut in August 2025
Expected price: Rs 14 lakh
Like the Maruti Grand Vitara 3-row SUV, Toyota is also expected to introduce its seven-seater version of the Hyryder. The SUV might debut sometime later next year. Plus, it will likely share components and powertrain with its counterpart, including the strong hybrid powertrain that is available with the Hyryder.

The new Skoda Octavia is arguably one of the hottest launches of 2025. Unveiled a few months ago, the updated Octavia features a fresh look and a completely overhauled cabin. It also gets an updated powertrain. However, we expect Skoda to launch the top-of-the-line Octavia RS in India with a 2-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged engine producing 265 PS and 370 Nm.

MG’s biggest launch of the year will be the new Cyberster – a two-door electric and convertible sports car. It was recently confirmed that the Cyberster coming to India will be powered by a dual-motor setup that delivers 510 PS and 725 Nm, enabling it to go from 0-100 kmph in 3.2 seconds. This version gets a 77 kWh battery pack with a WLTP range of 444 km. In other news, MG has announced its premium dealership network for India, called MG Select. Initially, there will be 12 showrooms in 12 major cities, where MG will display its high-end models, such as the Cyberster.
This was the list of the hottest upcoming car launches and reveals we can expect to come to India next year. Most of these major cars will be unveiled or launched at the forthcoming Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. The auto show will be held between 17 and 22 January 2025 in New Delhi.
