Right from 125cc naked streetfighters to 350cc old-school thumpers, there’s a huge variety of motorcycles for customers to choose between the Rs 1 lakh to Rs 2 lakh price bracket. Curious to know which ones sold the highest in this category last month? Well, here’s the answer:
Model |
Sales (in units) |
TVS Apache RTR 160, RTR 160 4V, RTR 180 & RTR 200 4V |
27,228 |
18,066 |
|
16,890 |
|
8,777 |
|
7,280 |
The TVS Apaches topped the charts, even though it sold less than last month. This is a cumulative number, though, including the RTR 160, 160 4V, 180, and 200 4V.
Next up is Yamaha’s FZ lineup, which has surpassed the Royal Enfield Classic 350. This is probably thanks to the addition of FZ-X to the lineup. However, we expect the Classic 350 to spring back next month with the launch of the 2021 model.
Rounding up the top five is the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 and the Yamaha R15 V3. While the former sold in similar numbers last month too, the R15 has seen an impressive surge of over 40% in its sales compared to June.
